Back to a new school year

So we are back to a new term: settling in new little ones, saying goodbye to the ones leaving us to start reception (which is by far the hardest part of the job) , back to the school runs, navigating new classrooms and most of all back to a stricter routine. Whilst in the summer holidays we have the whole day out exploring as one big family with younger and older children.

We had great fun spending days on the beach (we are definitely very lucky to have the beach on our doorstep). We have paddled in the sea, used our litter pickers to beach clean, searched the rock pools for crabs and fish as well as building dams and creating sand art using the beach treasures.

We have spent days in the forest making bows and arrows, lighting fires, building dens, making clay boglins and enjoying the mindfulness.

We have baked many different yummy treats and even shared them with the elderly neighbours.

However what was the weather like!!!! One day we had suncream on and the next it was waterproofs and wellies. Anyway, the older ones are back to school and its super sunny which is typical!

My new term resolution is to get back on the blog writing so thats the first one done!!!!

Please let us know what you would like to see on this blog - also if you would like to write one for us to share.
